The prayer ministry of Elim conducted a North America Leadership Training in Elimcenter Kirkwood, New York from December 13th to 15th, focused on equipping ministers with knowledge about Spiritual Theology, Pneumatology and the History of Revival.
The gathering was commenced with an opening service delivered by Elim International representative Pastor Swan Ham from John 14:16-17 & 26. She exhorted attendees to become mature and to eat solid food, by knowing the work of the Holy Spirit.
Three lectures were given by guest speaker Dr. Esther Jung from San Francisco. Topics of Spiritual Theology and History of Christian Doctrine, explaining how the church was set up from the early days, were covered, calling the congregation to stand on the foundation of truth to experience the work of the Holy Spirit.
A third lecture investigated Great Spiritual Revivals and Awakenings lead by Christian leaders such as John Wesley, George Whitefield, and D.L. Moody. Dr. Esther Jung shared: "I hope we can inherit the faith of those spiritual leaders. The era of revival has no end, if we have faith we can welcome another great spiritual awakening. So we should be ignited by the gospel, following the way of faith and look up to the kingdom of God."
The training concluded in various prayer meetings and closing service with a message from Mark 1:15 and Acts 2:26-39, explaining that repentance is the gateway for the great work of the Holy Spirit.
Elim International hopes to continuously hold leadership training worldwide to equip ministers with the knowledge of the Holy Spirit and to welcome the era of mission revival.
