Students at Olivet Children Project (OCP) in East Delhi celebrated 68th India Republic Day with Delhi Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Mr. Narayna Dutt Sharma who hoisted the flag at the top of the building was the Chief Guest to the function.
The Chief Guest Mr. Narayna Dutt Sharma is an MLA from Badarpur constituency in East Delhi.
A total about 85 including some parents celebrated at top of the building where OCP is located. 45 Students from OCP, 18 from church, around 15 who accompanied the politician and around 7 people from the local community also joined the flag hoisting ceremony hosted by the OCP.
After hoisting the flag, the MLA in Delhi Union Territory commended the works of O.C.P and said this is very important for the local community.
The respected Chief Guest encouraged OCP leadership to continue to carry out this good work. And he wished them all the best.
The OCP project director P. Udaya said, "It was very successful and it was excellent. We are very happy because we have the backing of the local top politician and the local community like this," he said.
The OCP presented a very humble gift to the Chief Guest who gladly received with thanks.
