Medical Fellowship Saint Luke Society Holds Third "Medical Dreamer" Online Event

Saint Luke Society (SLS), a medical fellowship affiliated with the World Olivet Assembly, held its third "Medical Dreamer" event online, attracting some 150 medical students in South Korea. The annual event speaks to students who dream of entering the medical profession and consists of two separate sessions focusing on providing relevant information and insights. It was held online this time due to the ongoing pandemic.

The first session included three 30-minute lectures by SLS leaders on the various medical career paths available to students, the importance of conviction about the vision, and insights on study skills that will become crucial to students' success as they pursue their dream of becoming a medical professional. After the session, participants were asked to write and submit their personal reflections on what they heard, so they could think more deeply about their calling and SLS staff could follow up with guidance or advice where needed.

The Medical Dreamer event is one of SLS's regular mentoring programs for medical students and professionals. Through mentoring, education, medical missions and fellowship, SLS seeks to share the hope of the Gospel with those in the medical profession and provide encouragement to believers who are called to advance God's Kingdom with their unique gifts and skills in the medical field.
